Sarai - Women of the Bible Series

The inspiration for this piece is Sara, later named Sarah.

Sarai was the wife of Abram (later Abraham) and is a central figure in the biblical narrative of Genesis. Known for her beauty and strength, she endured years of childlessness but maintained her faith in God's promises, ultimately becoming the mother of Isaac at the age of 90. Her story highlights the importance of patience, faith, divine intervention, and the fulfillment of God's covenant with Abraham's descendants. 

This original painting was created with wood stain and India ink on an 8x10-inch wood panel. It is wired on the back making it ready to hang.
