Art, to me, serves as a visual embodiment of scripture, enriching our surroundings with its eloquent narrative. My creations abound in symbolism, intricately weaving the essence of scriptures into each piece. These artworks, distinctive in their expression, not only serve as poignant reminders of divine teachings but also spark meaningful conversations, inviting others to engage with the profound beauty of God's Word.

Proverbs 10:19 offers insight into the power of discretion and restraint in communication. It reads, "Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues." This verse underscores the significance of exercising prudence and thoughtfulness in speech. It warns against the folly of excessive or careless words, emphasizing that speaking more doesn't resolve sin or conflict. Instead, it highlights the value of wisdom in knowing when to remain silent. By exercising discretion and controlling speech, we can avoid unnecessary conflict and maintain peace while exhibiting wisdom and understanding.

In a visual representation of her impassioned emotions, I incorporated the bold hue of red. Her deliberate silence and restraint were portrayed by rendering her mouth in a solemn veil of blackness. Scripture tells us we are able to do all things through the Lord Jesus Christ, Philippians 4:13. Therefore,  I chose to embody His presence by delicately crafting an olive vine. This choice was inspired by the verse in John 15:5, where He proclaims, "I am the vine, and you are the branches."

This piece was created with wood stain and in on a beautiful birch panel. It is ready to hang and measures approximately 9"x12".
